Insulation in a cold climate
Under slabs, outside foundations, inside shops
In central Alberta the ground is cold for half the year, and a slab or a foundation without insulation gives that cold a path straight into the building. We use SuperForm EPS+ and MAX+ rigid foam under heated slabs, on the outside of poured foundations, and in shops and outbuildings where a warm floor changes how the space gets used.
The sheets hold their insulating value over time and shrug off moisture, which matters below grade where the foam sits against wet soil for decades. We carry the common thicknesses and densities and can supply full jobs to other contractors as well as our own.

SuperForm rigid foam insulation
SuperForm EPS+
High-grade rigid foam insulation manufactured from sustainable expanded polystyrene (EPS). A dependable, inexpensive, energy-efficient solution available in several sheet sizes (4×8, 4×4, 2×8 and 2×4) and thicknesses.
SuperForm MAX+
Premium rigid foam with all the performance attributes of EPS+, plus a unique graphite polystyrene (GPS) cell structure that reflects radiant heat for higher R-value per inch.
