Woodwright Inc. ("Woodwright", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We follow the Personal Information Protection Act (Alberta) and, where it applies, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.
What we collect
When you contact us through this site, by email or by phone, we collect what you choose to give us: your name, phone number, email address, and the details of your project, including any plans or photos you send. We collect nothing from you without your knowledge.
Why we collect it
We use your information to respond to your inquiry, prepare estimates and take-offs, plan and carry out work you hire us for, and keep in touch about your project. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with anyone outside the people and trades involved in your project, except where the law requires it.
Website analytics
This site may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it, for example which pages are viewed and how people arrive. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can block analytics with your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker without affecting the site.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and project records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal and warranty obligations, then delete or securely destroy them.
How we protect it
Your information is stored in password-protected accounts and devices used by Woodwright staff and our authorised website service provider. Email is not perfectly secure; if you would rather not send plans or personal details by email, call us and we will arrange another way.
Your rights

Website enquiries
When you send an enquiry through an enabled website form, we store your contact and project details on our website server and queue a notification to Woodwright. We also record the page and any campaign tags provided with your enquiry so we can understand where it came from. These details are used to respond about your project, not to subscribe you to marketing emails. If the form instead prepares an email, you must send that email from your own email app.
YouTube videos
Our product pages include optional SuperForm videos hosted by YouTube. Video previews are served by this website. We connect to YouTube only when you choose to play a video or follow a YouTube link.
The embedded player uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain. After you play a video, YouTube receives technical information such as your IP address and browser information and may use storage or cookies according to its policies. See Google’s Privacy Policy. You can read all product information without playing videos.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
